 buildingSMART ME is the Regional Alliance for the Middle East and North Africa. It is currently establishing operations and officially launches in Abu Dhabi on the 15th-16th November 2009.
Initial operations focus on the UAE and its near neighbours, particularly Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Egypt, but buildingSMART ME will respond to specific opportunities across the entire region. The buildingSMART ME website is very new and is currently fairly basic. The aim is to develop it so that it provides a user-friendly resource for all members. During the development stage, the buildingSMART ME web site will contain a number of links to our international partners and we thank those partners for their information and support. |

It is an electronic newsletter, focusing on BIM business solutions that address the needs of people, process and technology.Established in February 2009, BIM Journal is acknowledged as a source of unbiased and understandable information, relating to the application of BIM process and technology to improve construction. |
