Standards for technology and process have been developed both internationally and by specific buildingSMART Regional Alliances. buildingSMART ME will adopt these standards as a template and develop them for the specific needs of the region. Delivering Standards will require a certification procedure for businesses and individuals backed by training programmes developed and audited by buildingSMART ME. During our initial start up period, these processes and programmes are being developed and will be announced at the launch of buildingSMART ME in November. To begin the certification programme of buildingSMART ME, the first step is an assessment of the status of your current business with respect to BIM and Interoperability. This ‘Health Check’ is free. buildingSMART ME members also receive a free visit and consultation to discuss the assessment and receive a personal development programme based on the analysis. |
